Outdoor patio facing the Niagara River. Bridgewater Restaurant - Gilmore Rd., Central Fort Erie. Fine dining on grounds of the Bridgewater Country Club. Open to the public. 335 on the Ridge (formerly Raidgeway's Restaurant) - Ridge Road, downtown Ridgeway - An attractive restaurant with two patios, one in front and a garden patio out back. Under new management in 2017. Interesting menu choices but somewhat limited menu and tends to be pricey. Trailside Bar and Grill - Ridge Road beside the Friendship Trail. Renovated restaurant in a historic hotel building dating from the 1860's. Casual dining with varied menu and reasonable prices. Sweet Dreams - Ridge Road - Ice cream parlour and cafe. Every flavour of ice cream imaginable. Maria's Downtown - Central Ridgeway, bright cafe, specializing in all day breakfast, large choice of egg dishes, pancakes, etc., very reasonable prices. Closes mid afternoon. Chameleon (formerly the Flying Squirrel) - Ridge Road - Closed The Sanctuary Crave Local Fresh - This small cozy pub and eatery is located in the brewery at the Sanctuary Centre for the Arts in the lower level, on Ridge Road. Large outdoor patio in season. A limited menu offers a change every week. Lino's Pizza Parlour - Ridgeway Road at Rebstock Road. Restaurant with pizza and varied menu. Pleasant outdoor patio with sunshades. The Breakfast Beacon (formerly Taters) - Gorham Road. Diner specializing in breakfast.
South Coast Cookhouse - Erie Road - Renovated bar and casual dining. Expect a crowd on weekends. Recently added private dining room for large groups. Palmwood Waterfront Eatery - Terrace Lane, foot of Ridgeway Road. Panoramic view of Lake Erie and the Buffalo skyline from inside or outside patio in summer. Local perch and pickerel always on the menu, cooked 4 different ways. Under new management. Prices on the high side. Crystal Chandelier - Erie Road and Ridgeway Road - Bar and restaurant in an Arte Nouveau setting. Entertainment on weekends. Point Abino (just west of Crystal Beach)
Bertie Boating Club - Point Abino Road South. The casual dining facility is open to the public. A pleasant place to have a meal or drinks inside or outside on the patio with a view of the boats. Also enjoy a stroll down the pier. Public parking lot across the road.
Stevensville (north west end of Greater Fort Erie)
Mae's Place - Stevensville Road. Family restaurant reasonably priced. Scuttlebutt - Stevensville Road. Bar & Eatery.
Snyder (north of Stevensville)
Commercial Roadhouse - A spacious but cozy restaurant and bar, in a historic tavern/hotel building dating to about 1840's. Comfort food at reasonable prices. Live country music on some weekends. Lane's Family Restaurant - Small diner with basic fare.
The Lighthouse Restaurant on-the-Parkway - Niagara Parkway at River Trail. Open again after many years of being closed, this restaurant and bar has been completely renovated into a bright attractive diner with a view of the Niagara River. Casual fare - burgers, wraps, pizza, fish on Fridays. This is a historic building, built in the early -mid 1850's. It has been a store, tavern, post office and hotel, known at one time as the Black Creek Tavern.
